Pre-Construction Stage-This is where planning begins. Everything from floor plan up to the roof should be carefully laid. Your contractor should be oriented about all the details and your additional concepts or ideas. You also need to have this submitted to the local municipal office so you could be given permits that are required by law. These permits may include electrical, sewer, plumbing, environmental and even the lot itself.



Groundwork Stage- After all the permits have been granted and the soil is tested, construction will begin with the groundwork. This is where the ground is dug for foundation; all the excavating jobs that will prove useful to your house’s foundation will be done at this stage as well.  After the foundation is laid, walls will be erected.

Outlining Stage- This stage is where the skeleton of your house is being erected. Floors, doors and windows are installed during this stage and as well as the electrical and plumbing jobs. Depending ion your local municipal office, this may be the stage wherein they will conduction inspections for them to make sure that your contractor are following the guidelines on ALL aspects stated on your permits. So be very vigilant and this is where keeping an eye is necessary and of vital importance. You don’t want to end up in trouble with your house is almost done.


Interior and Exterior Work Stage- This is the final stage of home construction. This is where your appliances, furniture and other specifications are installed. This includes cooling and heating systems, lights, tiles for your floor, and cabinets for your kitchen, bedroom and bathroom are positioned and set up.
